电池是AGV小车的能量来源，也关乎着AGV小车的使用寿命。AGV无人搬运车常用的几种电池有：镍镉蓄电池、镍氢蓄电池、锂电池和铅酸蓄电池等，他们分别有如下特点：

1、镍镉蓄电池
正极活性物质主要由镍制成，负极活性物质主要由镉制成的一种碱性蓄电池。
用于AGV小车的镍镉蓄电池内阻大，可供大电流放电，放电时电压变化小。与其他种类电池相比之下，镍镉电池可耐过充电或放过电，操作简单方便。放电电压依据其放电电流有些差异，大体上是1.2V左右镍镉电池的放电终止电压为1.0V/CELL，实使用温范围在-20度-60度，在此范围内要进行放电，可重复500次以上的充放电。
1. Nickel-cadmium battery
An alkaline storage battery in which the positive active material is mainly made of nickel and the negative active material is mainly made of cadmium.
The nickel-cadmium battery used in the AGV car has a large internal resistance and can be discharged with a large current, and the voltage change is small during discharge. Compared with other types of batteries, nickel-cadmium batteries can withstand overcharge or discharge, and the operation is simple and convenient. The discharge voltage is somewhat different according to its discharge current. Generally speaking, the discharge termination voltage of the nickel-cadmium battery is about 1.2V. 2、镍氢蓄电池
正极活性物质主要由镍制成，负极活性物质主要由贮氢合金制成的一种碱性蓄电池。
镍氢电池是由镍镉电池改良而来的，它以相同的价格提供比镍镉电池更高的电容量、比较不明显的记忆效应、以及比较低的环境污染。可用专门的充电器充电可在一小时快速充电，自放电特性比镍镉电池好，充电后可保留更长时间，可重复500次以上的充放。
2. Ni-MH battery
An alkaline storage battery in which the positive active material is mainly made of nickel, and the negative active material is mainly made of hydrogen storage alloy.
Nickel-metal hydride batteries are improved from nickel-cadmium batteries, which provide higher capacity, less obvious memory effect, and lower environmental pollution than nickel-cadmium batteries at the same price. It can be charged quickly in one hour with a special charger, and its self-discharge characteristics are better than that of nickel-cadmium batteries.
3、锂电池
“锂电池”，是一类由锂金属或锂合金为负极材料、使用非水电解质溶液的电池。
它拥有高能量密度。与高容量镍镉电池相比，能量密度是其2倍。高电压，平均使用电压为3.6V，是镍镉电池，镍氢电池的3倍。使用电压平坦而且高容量，广泛的使用温度-20度-60度，充放寿命长，经过500次放电后其容量至少还有70%以上。由于锂电池具备了能量密度高电压高，工作稳定的特点，应用非常广泛。
3. Lithium battery

4、铅酸蓄电池
电极主要由铅及其氧化物制成，电解液是硫酸溶液的一种蓄电池。
AGV铅酸蓄电池是一种使用最广泛的电池。铅酸蓄电池具有良好的可逆性，电压特性平稳，使用寿命长，适用范围广，原材料丰富，且可再生使用及造价低廉等优点。
4. Lead-acid battery
The electrodes are mainly made of lead and its oxides, and the electrolyte is a battery of sulfuric acid solution.
AGV lead-acid battery is one of the most widely used batteries. Lead-acid batteries have the advantages of good reversibility, stable voltage characteristics, long service life, wide application range, abundant raw materials, renewable use and low cost.
